Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator & Car Seat Safety in Hugo, MN
Hi, I’m Nicole Cuellar, a birth doula, certified childbirth educator, and child passenger safety technician (CPST) supporting families in Anoka County, Hugo, Forest Lake, White Bear Lake, and the greater Twin Cities area.
My own journey into parenthood, and the birth of my son, is what inspired me to step into this work. I know firsthand how important it feels to be supported, understood, and encouraged through pregnancy, birth, and those first days at home. That’s why I’m so passionate about walking alongside families as they welcome their little ones.
As a DONA-trained birth doula, I provide emotional, physical, and informational support so you can feel calm, confident, and cared for. I believe there’s no single “right” way to give birth, just your way. Whether you’re planning a hospital birth, birth center experience, or home birth, I’ll be by your side to guide, support, and advocate for your goals.
I also teach childbirth education classes in Lindstrom, MN, to the public and offer both in-home and virtual private sessions for families. My classes are fun, engaging, and designed to give you practical tools and knowledge for labor, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
In addition, I’m a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. I provide complimentary car seat safety checks for all my doula clients and childbirth education students, helping families install seats properly, check for recalls, and feel confident buckling their little ones in safely.
When I’m not working with families, I’m usually spending time with my husband and son here in Hugo, whether it’s exploring the outdoors, cooking up something new, or finding our next little adventure together.
